Get Creative this summer!
We survived the summer of 2020, and with so many of us in the #Vaxxed club, I’m sure the summer will be spent traveling and making memories offline for you and your family.
We all know that the work never really stops though when you’re a creative That’s why Camp Courage 2021 has a different format this year.
Last year, we served over 100 creators with camps from June – August. This year, we’re just doing one camp session from June 14 – 30. The focus is on having fun, building connections, and making cool content.
The theme for this year’s Camp Courage is “Create and Shine” and we’re going to spend time learning about things like freelancing (and where to find / how to pitch 4 figure projects), being an author, selling on Amazon KDP, getting more engaged readers to your blog and social media, and tapping into your creativity.
We’re going to do all of this through accountability, fun (and useful) exercises, and 1:1 support.
About Camp Courage
There’s just one session for Camp Courage 2021, but there are two options for joining:
Camp Create and Shine
Camp Create and More is all about using your creativity to earn more. We’re going to focus on nearly a dozen creative ways to increase your pay (as a blogger / not as a blogger, as a product seller / not as a product seller, etc.) and you’ll get to meet folks who are DOING IT. If you have big plans for the rest of the year, or need a push to achieve the goals you set at the beginning of 2021, this camp is for you!
You’ll start out with a specific goal to work towards on Day 1 of camp, and then we’ll work to make sure you reach it!
Camp Create and Shine w/ Camp Experience
Sign up for this session if you’re interested in receiving a camp swag pack including a nostalgic tee-shirt, notebook, and other goodies curated specifically for campers!
The Schedule
Unlike summer camp when we were kids, we don’t have all day to play anymore. The schedule for Camp Courage was created with a realistic expectation of commitment from actual adults who might be doing things like working other jobs and managing families.
What does that mean? There’s 30 minutes to an hour of actual content to consume or engage with each day of each session. Beyond that, participate as much as you have the time to. Obviously, the more you are able to be a part of the camp, the more you’ll get out of it, but I am intentional about creating sessions (including when speakers present) that will allow you to see growth even in 30 minutes a day.
Before camp begins, you’ll get a full schedule of meeting dates, topics, and speakers, so you can set your schedule up in a way that works for you.
The Format
I know y’all are Zoomed out, so Camp Courage for 2021 features live videos on YouTube that you can go back to check out later (or, participate live) AND we’ll be sending out AUDIO of all of our presentations, plus a daily email with that day’s activities and challenges.
For the folks who aren’t Zoomed out, there are 4 Zoom sessions (also recorded) where you can come and get feedback on the work that you’re doing throughout the camp.
